Dr. Gordon ("Mike") Michalson, President, New College
“Higher Education in Florida: The Current Landscape"
Dr. Michalson (Yale, '70) is a commissioner of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the regional accreditation agency for higher education, and past President of the Florida Association of Colleges and Universities (FACU) and the Southern University Conference. He also serves on the boards of the Leroy Collins Institute, the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and the Educational Alliance of the Suncoast Workforce Board.
